The Explorer Experience, Step by Step

1
Explorer opens the app and sees a Drop near them
The app surfaces Drops based on the Explorer's interests and location. A Drop is a branded activation anchored to a specific place in the city.
2
They arrive at the location and activate the camera
At the physical location, the Explorer opens their phone camera. The app recognizes the place and prepares the AR layer.
3
Branded digital content appears, anchored to the physical location
Through the phone camera, digital objects appear overlaid on the real world. Floating brand moments, collectible items, and location-specific rewards visible only in that place, at that time.
4
Collectibles are claimed, rewards unlocked, data captured
The Explorer claims their reward through DISC. Their permission-granted signal, verified presence, dwell time, engagement, goes to the brand. The Explorer knows exactly what they shared and chose to share it.
5
Brand receives verified confirmation of engagement
Dwell time, interaction type, location, demographic consent data, and any user-generated content from the activation. Permission first, always.

What AR Enables

Location-Locked Content
Digital content that exists only at a specific location. Explorers have to physically be there to see it and claim it. No screenshots, no workarounds.
Verified Engagement Data
Every interaction is timestamped, geolocated, and permissioned. Dwell time, interaction type, demographic consent data. The physical world, finally measurable.
Collectibles and Rewards
Digital collectibles, physical product samples, discount codes, and experience passes. Claimed on the spot through the phone camera and stored in the Explorer's wallet.

What is AR in weDISCOVR?

Using your phone's camera, digital content is overlaid on the real world. The Explorer points their camera at a location and sees branded digital objects floating in the physical space. These can be collectible items, product samples, discount codes, or experience passes. They exist only at that location, at that time. Once claimed, they go into the Explorer's wallet. The brand gets verified data on who engaged, where, when, and for how long. No cookies. No tracking pixels. Real people, in real places, with real consent.
