The weDISCOVR Explorer experience is currently built on smartphone-based AR -- any iOS or Android device with a functioning camera. We are actively building compatibility with smart glasses platforms and are inviting hardware partners to join the integration program now, ahead of the consumer rollout.
Whisper UI is a spatial interface layer being built for ambient city exploration -- a mode where weDISCOVR content surfaces in your field of view without requiring you to look down at a phone. It is in active development. Hardware partners with compatible displays are invited to co-develop and be first-to-market with it. Full spec available to confirmed partners under NDA.
City Mode is a full-city AR navigation experience -- events, Drops, Curators, and Spaces surfaced in your field of view as you move through the city. Think of it as the operating layer that makes a city legible through AR. It is designed for smart glasses-class hardware. In development. Full spec under NDA.
Hardware partners receive aggregated, anonymized engagement intelligence mapped to device usage in live Drop environments. You see how your hardware performs in real activation conditions -- dwell time, engagement depth, content interaction rates. No individual user data is shared. All outputs are wEID-anonymized and aggregated at the cohort level. Full data partnership agreement required.
Hardware integration is invitation-based in Phase 1. There is no fee for founding hardware partners. Strategic co-development partnerships are negotiated individually based on scope. Apply below and we will respond within 5 business days.
Yes. We are interested in pre-consumer hardware at the right maturity level. If your hardware is compatible with the weDISCOVR AR stack and you are 12 months or fewer from commercial readiness, apply for a conversation. We are building the city OS -- we want the hardware partners who will run it to help shape how it works.
Each partner retains ownership of their own hardware IP. Any jointly developed integration layer (Whisper UI, City Mode compatibility layers) is subject to the terms of the joint development agreement, negotiated case by case. weDISCOVR retains ownership of the wSI, the permission infrastructure, and the activation network.
